Our expert team delivers 2 live sessions (October 11, 2021, 09.00am – 12.00pm). We will also provide a course booklet and readings which you can engage with at your own pace. You will receive a certificate and CPD hours upon completion.
Modern times are stressful and filled with a bewildering blizzard of emails, phone calls, yet more emails, meetings, projects, and information from millions of sources. We cannot always avoid the things that stress us out, but we can learn how to best respond to stress factors. This is especially important in the current environment where working at home and juggling with different tasks is becoming a norm.
In this course, you will learn how your brain is responding to stress factors and ways to reduce these. We will equip you with techniques to calm your amygdala and integrating mindfulness into your everyday life. Ultimately, you will be better suited to control your stress.
Drawing on research in mindfulness, neurosciences and positive psychology, this interactive course will help you to transform feeling stressed into feeling confident, resilient, in control and energised.

Cognitive biases resulting from stress; Your physiological response to stress; Effects of different stressor types
Session 2: Gaining control over your stress
Mindfulness and how it influences your amygdala; Grounding strategies; Becoming cognitively flexible
